Next, is some jewelry I did for a show at The Derby in LA. Kuccoon by Andrea Spratt was the clothing designer. This was a good time! Morningstar and Free looked so gorgeous that night!

Fred Segal in Santa Monica...

I finally got a job working for a lovely woman named Nina Segal. She is the daughter of Fred Segal(Creator of Fred Segal and famous for making bell bottom hip hugger designer jeans as I've been told...) and she has a jewelry store/bead workshop inside of Fred Segal in Santa Monica. Seemed like a good spot for me. I was able to remerchandise the store and really showcase some of my work in installations that I put together. I wish I had more pix of that. But here are some of my fav pieces that I made during that time.

Then came the Celebrities... It was Hollywood afterall..!

Shakira was the first. Her hips were not lyin' in her Marisa Youlden Body Harness and headdress. She wore them for the 2007 Vh1 Music Awards. The Gold back harness was for the 2008 Grammys. Her hips were still not lyin' then too. That was such a gorgeous Bodyharness. I miss it...

THIS NECKLACE LOOKED LIKE TINY BLACK TREES GROWING IN THE SNOW. DENDRITE OPAL. I WISH THERE WAS A CLOSE UP CUZ IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. BUT THESE SHOTS ARE DEF ABOUT TIFFAS HEADDRESS. AND BRION'S SWEET PHOTOS. I THINK HANS HAVERON DID THE AIRBRUSH AS WELL. I love these pics!!! Good ones.. :)

Still getting feet wet in Hollywood at this point. Arin Ingraham shot these just outside the loft. Jocelyn is modeling. The white jewelry is Quartz Drusi and Rainbow Moonstone.Guessing it was 2005 or 6. Never been so great at keeping track of time. Someone once told me "TIME IS CANCELLED".. I guess I believed him.
THE PEARL DAISY CORSET NECKLACE WAS LUSCIOU... STILL IS. SOMEHOW, I STILL HAVE THAT ONE! AND THE TOP IS A LIL ONYX CHOKER. NOT THE MOST EXCITING PIECE I EVER MADE, BUT JOCELYN IS SOOOOOOO GORGEOUS!!!! WHAT A BEAUTY! XOX,M
